“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” – Luke 6:38
The faith that you use to become born again is the same faith that can take you to a place of optimum harvest. Optimum harvest means having enough leftover to bless someone else. If we were not careful, we’ve become satisfied with “just enough” rather than reaching out for “more than enough.” Our maximum harvest enables us to bless others.
The following warning signs may suggest that you are not achieving your maximum harvest:
- You are not able to pay off credit cards each month.
- You and your mate do not agree concerning spending.
- You do not consistently tithe.
- You have no savings.
Many times money problems are an indication of an area of your life that is out of harmony with God’s work. The use of your money is really a reflection of what’s in your heart. There are laws to poverty just like there are laws to prosperity. If you are living in poverty, you are somehow applying the laws that produce poverty. The problem is that you don’t see the way out. You don’t know what to change or you would change it. Operating in god’s laws of prosperity is that way out!
Achieving optimum harvest may require that you begin to do things differently. Here are some suggestions to help:
- Seek godly counsel.
- Attend a financial seminar.
- Read Christian financial books.
- Don’t make major purchases on impulse.
If you resort to your credit cards instead of using your faith to get your needs met, you are living far below the standard that God has set for you. Ephesians 3: 20 says, “now unto him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” God is able. It is His power at work period when you give sacrificially, you can expect to achieve your optimum harvest.
